Start with the challenge

Most people who want to do this never get past step one. Not because it is hard — because there is no deadline and no next task. So here is both. 7 days. One task a day. You can do each one in an evening. Start whenever you want — people are on every day of it.

Day 1Pick your niche. From the list, or your own — but you pick one and you stop looking.
Day 2Make ten designs. With the prompts. Ten, not two, and none of them have to be good yet.
Day 3Keep three. Post all ten in the group and find out which ones people would actually wear.
Day 4Build the store. Template, name, domain. One evening.
Day 5Connect a printer. Put your three designs on real products and publish them.
Day 6Make your creatives. Product shots and one ad image per design.
Day 7Put five dollars behind it. Your first campaign goes live.

Day 8: you have a store that is live, with real products, running real traffic.

Nobody is going to promise you sales in seven days, and I am not going to either. What I can promise is that on day eight you are past the part where almost everybody stops.

And who is telling you all this

I run two print-on-demand production sites — one in Europe, one in the United States. More than a thousand t-shirts, hoodies and sweatshirts cross my floor every single day, and I do €5 million a year from print on demand myself. That is the only reason this group is worth your time. When I tell you a niche works, I am not reading a trend tool. I am reading my own production.

Questions

Nothing for stock. That is the whole point of print on demand: nothing is produced until a customer has already paid you. You never buy a single shirt up front, you never fund a warehouse, and there is no box in your flat that did not sell. What you do need is a Shopify plan, a domain for about a dollar a month, and a small budget to test ads. We test at five dollars a day per design — and yes, most of that goes to designs that flop. That is the job, and it is the only real money at risk.
